What is it?
King of the Court Cubed is a 6 vs 6 competitive co-ed Volleyball at the GO Centre Sunday Afternoons...in a fun format.
Easy to Register:
- $55 per player for 4 weeks of play.
- Register as singles, doubles or triples.
- You will be placed in a KingGroup of 2 guys and 1 girl.
- Teams registered as triples (already formed KingGroups) will have registration preference over doubles and singles. MWRVS will do their best to form KingGroups of three but single or double registrations are not guaranteed spots until KingGroups are formed.
- KingGroup registration of triples (3) = $ 165
- KingGroup registration of doubles (2) = $ 110
- Single (individual) registration = $55
How do you play 6 vs. 6 with a Group of 3?
Two KingGroups are temporarily combined to make a SuperTeam of 6. To win your court you will have to prove you can have a winning record when temporarily combined with each of the other KingGroups on your court.
Example:
1&2 vs. 3&4
1&3 vs. 2&4
1&4 vs. 2&3
- Each week KingGroups that have a winning record move up, and KingGroups that have a losing record move down. So you end up playing with KingGroups of similar abilities.
- The best KingGroups will play together on Court1.
- At the end of 4 weeks, the top group on each respective courts is "King of the Court" for their respective tiers and a new 4 week round starts. Returning KingGroups get the top places, new KingGroups start at the bottom.
K3 is a fun innovative spin on the King of the Beach format. Teams will have to adapt to their team's skills and positional play. Come join to meet new people and players.
League Starts
K3 league is tentatively set to start Sunday, February 5, 4;00-6:00 and goes for four weeks. A new K3 league will commence after that. Duration may be extended for the next K3 registration.
