Tie Breaking Breaking Rules
The round standings shall be determined by points
At the end of each round, if two or more teams are tied following the point ranking, the following criteria will be applied, in order:
If a tie exists between two teams, then the team that won the match, in which the two tied teams played, will be determined to be the higher ranked team.
If a tie still exists between two teams, then the team with the best ratio of won/lost games, considering
ALL
matches of the round, will be the higher ranked team.
If a tie still exists between two teams, then the team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering games played between the tied teams, will be the higher ranked team.
If a tie exists between three teams, then the team with the best ratio of won/lost games, considering matches played between the tied teams, will be the higher ranked team.
If a tie still exists between three teams, then the team with the best ratio won/lost games, considering
ALL
matches of the round, will be the higher ranked team.
If a tie still exists between two teams, then the team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering games played between the tied teams, will be the higher ranked team.
If a tie still exists after rule 4.3 or 4.6, then a coin toss will be used to determine which team is to be the higher ranked team.
